I love my life. I have so much to be thankful for. Still though it seems like its not enough. Somedays I feel the magic and have a sense of satisfaction with my day, and others are just not that way. I hate lairs... I don't think you respect yourself or what you are doing when you lie. I make a conscious effort to not lie in my life but as humans it is inevitable. I want more, from people and from life. The only remedy is for me to put more effort into my life and I'll get more in return. Our lives are a series or games and we hold the controler. I know I can change my life, improve it and make it great. Just can't waste time, gotta stay focused on me and my happiness and the rest will fall in place. Lets go have fun!!

Funk

For the past month I have been having the time of my life. Filming surfing, going snowboarding, seeing concerts, dancing to dj's, and talking to girls. Life has been good. After paying off debt (and not all of it) I am back to a humbling sum in my bank account. It is motivating and depressing. I want to make money, but there's not much work out there. I have a few things lined up that will sustain me for another month or two, but I better get some work quick. If anyone knows anyone that needs video work, please call me.

Good Times

wow this weekend has been nuts. ASR is in town and free drinks have been flowing every night everywhere. I have not been going too hard, but its been a good time. I feel like we meet new people but so often the ones that have been in your life, somewhere in your past, are the ones we find comfort in and interesting. weird. i have met people recently, that i casually knew through friends in the past, and found a new respect and interest in each of these persons. Everyday every night, I continue to beleive that the most important thing about life is to keep smiling and having fun no matter what your doing!!

New President, New Hope, New World

i am in a rush but this needs to be said... the universe is different now then its been or 30 years. we cannot expect our "old" fundamentals and old policies to be effective in this new world. it is time to start fresh and begin our new perspective. Obama is in tune with this world and its exciting to see new vision in high places. Dreams can come true..., on any scale.

mexico

I just got back from Baja Meixco, and my friends and I had a great time. Although the country is on high alert, we were fortunate enough to cruise through with out any trouble. Ryan Clancy organized the trip for Jonny Flick, Daniel Hopkins, and I all to go down and stay at his families house in Las Gaviotas. Nicer than you can ever image. We surfed, we filmed, we ate lobster, we drank beer, we ate tacos, and we surfed some more.. It was esspecially nice becuse it was the first trip I filmed where it was the boys, so it was fun and helped me remember why I got into doing what I am doing in the first place. I feel so lucky to love my life!!

some times its easy and fun and other times, it is tedius and tiring... sometimes it's both in the same day.. I had so much fun today. I shot water footy at sukouts with Keenan, Tyler Reid, and a few local groms and had a good time playing in the waves. Now, and ever since, I am finishing up an episode of surfshot tv. it is premiereing this thursday and hopefully it is good!! However, I am beggining to wonder why it is called surfshot tv and not epitome visions tv. The future holds endless possibilities.
